Man robs 7-Eleven in northeast Kansas City

Police are looking for a man who robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store in the northeast area of Kansas City.

The man entered the store at 3201 Independence Avenue about 4:30 a.m. Friday.

The clerk told police that the man demanded cash and indicated he had a weapon. No weapon, however, was shown.

After receiving the cash, the man fled on foot. A complete description of the robber was unavailable. He is believed to be about 30 years old.

No one was injured during the robbery.
