The driver who died when her car crashed off a Johnson County bridge Sunday has been identified as a 20-year-old Fairway woman.

Anousha Ann Shirazi was found dead in her car, which had landed upside down in the Blue River a mile south of 167th Street.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, her 2004 Volkswagen Passat was southbound on U.S. 69 when it drifted into the center median. The car returned to the roadway, crashed into a guard rail and flipped into the river.

Shirazi was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
