North Kansas City police investigate early morning shooting

The victim suffered injuries that authorities believe are not life-threatening. No one was in custody.

North Kansas City police are investigating a shooting early Wednesday that left one person injured.

The shooting, police said, occurred just after 5 a.m. in the 1200 block of East 24th Avenue, which is south of Macken Park.

Officers found a person in a house with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, according to police.

No one was in custody.
