Kansas freshman Andrew Wiggins arrived on campus on Saturday, joining the rest of his six-man recruiting class at KU.
Wiggins, the consensus No. 1 recruit in the country, was expected to arrive this week after choosing to spend the summer in Lawrence instead of playing for the U-19 Canadian national team.
The arrival was delayed a few days by paperwork, but Wiggins, a 6-foot-7 swing man, is expected to enroll in summer classes and begin workouts with the Jayhawks in the coming days.
“I think it speaks volumes that he’s trying to get here as soon as he possibly can,” KU coach Bill Self said earlier this week.
