Two Kansas City, Kan. teenagers have been charged with murder in connection with the Tuesday homicide of Shavar Buckner.
Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerome A. Gorman charged Deon J. Graham and Tiara N. Harden each with first-degree murder, aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery. Both are 18.
Buckner, 27, of Kansas City, died at the Suntree Plaza Apartments near Roe Lane and County Line Road in Kansas City, Kan.
The charges allege that Graham and Harden planned with Ernest Stamps to rob Buckner. Stamps and Buckner appear to have exchanged gunfire; Stamps and Buckner were killed.
Graham and Harden are in the Wyandotte County jail in lieu of posting $1 million appearance bonds.
