A crash along southbound Interstates 29/35 in North Kansas City slowed traffic to a crawl during Thursday morning’s rush hour.
Two vehicles collided about 6:50 a.m. just south of the exit to Armour Boulevard and Missouri 210.
The extent of injuries were not immediately available, although they were believed to be minor.
The crash closed the two right lanes of the heavily traveled highway that is popular among Northland commuters headed into downtown Kansas City and locations further south.
At times, traffic slowed to less than 10 miles an hour.
The crash caused traffic to back up beyond the I-29 and I-35 split in the Northland.
