A Kansas City, Kan., man on Tuesday was sentenced to more than 19 years in prison for traveling across state lines to have sex with children.

Robert Poe III, 39, was arrested last year as part of an international child pornography investigation that also led to a conviction and a 30-year prison sentence for Michael Arnett of Roeland Park.

The crimes involving Poe occurred in 1999 and 2000 and involved boys he had met through Arnett. The victims told investigators they were molested at Poe’s home, at the home of a relative of Poe in Johnson County and during out-of-town weekend trips.

Poe pleaded guilty in February in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Kan., to three felony counts.
