Kansas City Police on Saturday were investigating three seperate shootings that occurred in the city during the early morning hours.
The identities of the injured persons in these apparently unrelated shootings,were not available, Saturday morning. None of the injuries were life threatening, police said.
Police said the first occurred about 2:50 a.m. in the area of 9th Street and Van Brunt Boulevard. Police found one person shot at the scene. The wounded person was taken to a nearby hospital. There were no details available about the person’s condition, police said. And no arrests had been made.
The second shooting occurred about 4:30 a.m. in the 6500 block of Blue Parkway. Police found one person with a gun shot wound at the scene.
Again, pollice said the wound was not life threatening. The person was taken to the hospital. No arrest had been made in that case either.
The third incident came in as a call to Kansas City, Mo. police dispatchers of an apparent shooting after a wounded person walked in to North Kansas City Hospital and said they had been shot in Kansas City.
Police said they had no further details about that incident.
All three were being investigated.
