A man who did not show a weapon robbed a Lee’s Summit bank on Wednesday afternoon.
The FBI said the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash after the robbery at 4:20 p.m. at the Commerce Bank, 1001 Chipman Road.
The man was described as white, about 6 feet tall in his late 20s or 30s and with a heavy muscular build. He was wearing a dark green camouflage ball cap, a gray shirt and jeans.
He gave a teller a demand note. There were no injuries.
