It’s not every model that would be unhappy about showing up in a Victoria’s Secret catalog wearing a bra.

But then again, we all know that Kate Upton isn’t just

model. She’s got two “Sports Illustrated” swimsuit issue covers - and a Vogue cover - to prove it.

Kate is reportedly upset with the lingerie company after it used an old photo of her in its current catalog.

Why the hard feelings?

Because last year, Victoria’s Secret model booker Sophia Neophitou told the New York Times that the company would never hire Kate for its famous runway show because her look was “too obvious.”

“We would never use Kate... She’s like a footballer’s wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy,” the booker sniffed.

So why, then, did Victoria’s Secret suddenly decide Kate was good enough to be shown on the back page of its new catalog?

In a photo taken in 2011, no less.

And without telling Kate.

A source tells the New York Post that Kate is not contracted to work with Victoria’s Secret and the company did not contact her before using her face (and other assets) for its purposes.
