3-year-old found wandering Kansas City streets

Police this morning were looking for the parents of a 3-year-old boy who was founding wandering the streets on Kansas City’s East Side.

The boy was found about 5:15 a.m. Thursday near Truman Road and Belmont Avenue.

Police found the boy’s home, but discovered a 9-year-old was home alone, according to media reports.

Officers had found an adult to leave the boy with by 7 a.m.
