A performance scheduled for Saturday night at the Nelson-Atkins Museum has been postponed until 7:30 p.m. Sunday night.

A spokeswoman said the “Quixotic Surfaces: An Illuminated Retrospective” event was postponed because of inclement weather and concern for the safety of the performers.

Quixotic is a Kansas City-based ensemble of artists demonstrating aerial acrobatics, dance, film, music, fashion and visual effects. Their family-friendly collision of music, dance and airborne maneuvers serves as a tribute to the architecture and artwork in the museum. The show takes place at the Kansas City Sculpture Park on the south side of the

-Atkins Museum.
