Police surrounded a Kansas City house for several hours early Sunday after an adult entertainer was robbed when she got to the house and then another one was called there.

According to police, someone at the house in the 2000 block of East 70th Terrace called an adult entertainment company about 10 p.m. Saturday asking that a woman be sent there. When the woman arrived, several people robbed her.

Around midnight, someone again called for a woman to be sent to the home, police said. An employee of the entertainment business recognized the phone number, realized that another employee was being set up to be robbed and notified police.

When police arrived at the house, several people who were outside went indoors. Police started a standoff.
