Husband, wife dead in Missouri motorcycle crash

A Missouri couple is dead after their motorcycle crossed the center line of a highway near Lake of the Ozarks and struck a sport utility vehicle.

The accident happened about 12:55 p.m. Sunday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 57-year-old Terry Jones of Gravois Mills was driving the Harley Davidson motorcycle with his wife, 56-year-old Susan Jones, on Highway 87 in Miller County when it crashed with the SUV.

Terry and Susan Jones were pronounced dead at the scene.

Eldon is about 30 miles southwest of Jefferson City.
