An overnight sobriety checkpoint near downtown Kansas City netted 11 DUI arrests, police said.

A total of 408 vehicles were stopped at 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue during the operation from 11 p.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday.

In addition to the DUI arrests, one person was arrested for an outstanding Kansas City warrant and four motorists were cited for traffic violations, according to police.

It was the second checkpoint of the weekend in Kansas City. A checkpoint Friday night and Saturday morning resulted in 23 DUI arrests on U.S. 169 near the Wheeler Downtown Airport.
