Fire caused more than $100,000 worth of damage at an Overland Park apartment complex Sunday night.

Nobody was hurt, but the Red Cross is helping residents who were forced from two apartments.

Firefighters were called to the Hunters Pointe Apartments complex in the 9500 block of West 118th Terrace just before 10 p.m. and they found smoke and fire coming from the attic of a two-story building.

They brought the blaze under control in about 40 minutes.
