Man shot to death, another wounded overnight in Kansas City

A man in his mid-20s was found shot to death about 3 a.m. Sunday in the street in the 2600 block of Monroe Avenue, Kansas City police said.

A short time later, a second shooting victim in his late 20s checked into a local hospital. He was in serious but stable condition.
