Backers of Kansas gun bills expect legislative votes

One bill up facing votes Thursday in the House and Senate declares that the federal government has no power to regulate guns, ammunition and accessories that are made, sold and kept exclusively in Kansas. Another would permit public schools and state colleges to arm employees with concealed weapons.
