Kansas City police will hold a DUI checkpoint this weekend.

The sobriety checkpoint will be sometime between Friday and Sunday at a location known for alcohol-related crashes or arrests.

Police will post signs in advance of the checkpoint and officers will direct motorists to an area where another officer can check whether drivers are impaired.

Drivers who are suspected of driving drunk will be arrested.
