A 24-year-old Kansas City woman spent 45 minutes locked in her basement after two gunmen accosted her at her front door and stole valuables from her home Sunday night.

The woman told police she was unlocking her front door about 9:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of Manheim Road when the hooded gunmen accosted her and pushed a gun to her head. They escorted her through her home and asked where she kept her flat-screen television and cash. They locked her first in her bathroom and later in the basement.

They fled with her cell phone, laptop, purse and other items in her blue 2005 Ford Focus with Texas license plates.

Her roommate arrived home about 10:15 p.m. and saw the home had been ransacked. The roommate called police, who searched the home and found the victim in the basement.
