Finally, by Saturday, the snow could be melted from lawns and roofs.

Most of it anyway. A warming trend is expected to push temperatures to 60 or so by Friday and remain in the 50s over the weekend.

But hold off on the barbecue. Rain comes with the warmth, with good chances of showers both Saturday and Sunday.

Today should be sunny, but the high is expected to get only to about 37. Then we start to warm, according to the National Weather Service. Thursday should see a high near 50.

Then the big warm-up.

Then the next cool-down.

Sunday night brings a chance of more snow.
