Rod Stewart and Clint Eastwood did it at 66.

Charlie Chaplin was famously 73 when he did it.

So we're not shocked at the news that Steve Martin has reportedly fathered his first child at the granddaddy age of 67.

Several reports suggest that Martin and his 41-year-old wife Anne Stringfield had a child in December. No word from the family yet. But we're just curious - and awed by - how they would have managed to keep a pregnancy a secret from the paparazzi in baby-bump-obsessed Hollywood.

“They've had a baby, and how they kept it a secret nobody knows. Steve's very private," a source told the New York Post. "They are thrilled. They worked hard to have the baby.”

Martin married Stringfield, his second wife, in 2007. He was previously married for eight years to actress Victoria Tennant.
