Two people injured in traffic crashes in Kansas City have died, police said Monday.
Paul A. Dibbon, 43, of Excelsior Springs, was injured in a two-vehicle crash Nov. 4 at Missouri 152 and Flintlock Road. The pickup truck Dibbon was driving north on Flintlock collided with a van on Missouri 152, according to police.
Police were notified last Friday afternoon that Dibbon had died from his injuries. Information about the other driver was not available. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The other fatal crash occurred about 2:45 a.m. Friday at Interstate 70 and 23rd Street. The victim, 30-year-old Brianna B. Davis of Independence, was a passenger in a vehicle that struck a guardrail.
Davis, who was ejected, died Friday night at a hospital, according to police. The vehicle’s driver and another passenger suffered minor injuries. That crash also remains under investigation.
The deaths were the 61st and 62nd traffic deaths in Kansas City this year.
