Man found dead in KCK lake is identified

Kansas City, Kan., police are investigating whether foul play was involved after a man’s body was discovered this morning in Big Eleven Lake.

The fully clothed body of 33-year-old David Ray Jackson, who lived nearby, was discovered about 9 a.m. by a man walking by the lake, according to KCTV5, The Star’s reporting partner.

The lake, at North 10th Street between State Avenue and Washington Boulevard, is near the John F. Kennedy Community Center.
