AT&T offers $100,000 reward in worker’s death

A $100,000 reward is being offered in the Northland killing of an AT&T technician.

Kevin M. Mashburn, 58, died after being assaulted while working an overnight shift in Gladstone early Wednesday.

AT&T is offering the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. The company urges anyone with information to call 800-807-4205.

“AT&T is committed to doing all it can,” AT&T Missouri president John Sondag said.

Authorities found Mashburn unconscious inside his truck just after 3 a.m. Wednesday. He died after being rushed to a hospital.
