A Grandview police officer shot at a car this morning as the vehicle sped toward the officer.
The incident was reported at around 11 a.m. when officers were called to investigate suspicious activity at the Arbors Apartments in the 11900 block of Holiday Drive.
Police said the two men were seen running to from the apartments. They got into a dark blue 2003 Monte Carlo and sped away. The vehicle has Missouri license plates with the number PJ3-J4R.
An officer fired at the fleeing vehicle as it accelerated toward him. The bullet broke the vehicle’s windshield.
Police said that an apartment at the complex had been burglarized. Witness told police they believe the men in the vehicle were responsible for the break-in.
No arrests have been made and no injuries were reported.
