Lee’s Summit police have asked for the public’s help finding an 85-year-old woman who left her nursing home about 3:30 a.m. Monday morning.
Shirley G. Latare needs oxygen for a lung disease and has been experiencing delirium for three days, which makes her speech unintelligible, police said.
She lived at the home at 1912 N.W. Cherry Street.
Police described her as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 117 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a short sleeve, knee-length floral nightgown.
Police ask anyone with information about her whereabouts to call 911 or the nearest law enforcement agency or Lee’s Summit police at 816-969-7390.
