    The Confederate Memorial at 55th Street and Ward Parkway in Kansas City will be removed after being vandalized on Friday and boarded up on Sunday. The Missouri Division of the United Daughters of the Confederacy asked the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department to move the monument to a safer location after it was defaced with graffiti on Friday.
