Many of our readers using The Star's apps on the Android platform have noticed problems recently.
When a key piece of software was upgraded last week, the information feeds that update our apps on Android broke. Our corporate IT and the vendor that developed the software have been working to fix the issue ever since.
Although we initially believed it would be a relatively quick fix, it is taking much longer than we hoped. Readers using our recently updated iOS apps have not been affected.
