Two Gardner men were seriously injured early Sunday in a golf cart crash at a Lake of the Ozarks resort.
The accident occurred at 12:20 a.m. as the 2007 Club Car golf cart was heading down a hill at the Riviera Resort in Camden County, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol report. The golf cart struck a stairway and overturned, ejecting both occupants.
The driver, Korey J. Hart, 34, was taken by emergency helicopter to University Hospital. His passenger, Dennis Good, 35, was taken to Lake Regional Hospital. Neither was wearing safety devices.
The golf cart was extensively damaged, the report said. The accident is under investigation by the Highway Patrol and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office.
