Hillary Clinton will be making a stop in Kansas City on June 22 to talk about the challenges and choices she faced as America’s 67th secretary of state.

Clinton will appear at Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland with Rainy Day Books founder Vivien Jennings, according to a news release.

On Tuesday, Clinton will release “Hard Choices,” a book that details how her experiences as secretary of state drive her view of the future.

“All of us face hard choices in our lives,” Clinton writes at the start of her book. “Life is about making such choices. Our choices and how we handle them shape the people we become.”

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday at The Midland’s box office and will start at $40.50. They can be purchased at www.axs.com or charged by phone at 888-929-7849.

Each person who attends will receive an autographed hardcover copy of “Hard Choices.” Books must be picked up at the event. Rain checks will not be accepted.
