While losing election battles, tea party says it is winning the message war

Five years after its broad grass-roots movement rocked town halls and talk shows, the tea party views the unfolding 2014 election season with a mixture of pride and frustration. Most Republican candidates are now walking, talking and acting like tea party acolytes. At the same time, though, GOP primary voters have largely stuck with familiar faces, leaving tea party insurgents in the dust.
