Dennis Moore returns to Capitol Hill for personal testimony on Alzheimer’s

Dennis Moore, who represented Kansas’ 3rd District in Congress for 12 years, returned to Capitol Hill on Wednesday to urge his old colleagues to invest in finding a cure for Alzheimer’s, the degenerative brain disease from which he suffers. “Not only does Alzheimer’s steal our memories, independence and eventually our ability to function, it demands increasing amounts of care,” Moore told a Senate health appropriations subcommittee.
