Rehabbing KCI could cost about a third of the price of a new terminal, official says

At $365 million to $460 million, fixing up the three existing terminals would cost much less than a new $1.2 billion terminal, deputy aviation director Phil Muncy told the KCI Terminal Advisory Group. But a refurbished Kansas City International Airport would still have key shortcomings, added Muncy, who opposes the bare-bones rehab plan.
