Harte-Hanks Inc. is closing a call center it operates in Shawnee, eliminating 93 jobs.

“The lease expired,” said Doug Shepard, chief financial officer of the San Antonio-based marketing services company. “We are relocating those jobs, moving them to other call centers across the nation.”

Shepard said a separate Harte-Hanks operation in the building continues to do business there. The fulfillment center, which has 65 employees, is under a different lease that is not expiring.

The fulfillment center sends products of Harte-Hanks clients to complete customers’ orders.
