Roth Living will open a high-end appliance showroom on the Country Club Plaza

Roth Living, a high-end appliance showroom, is bringing its inventory to the Country Club Plaza.

Roth is taking a 5,750-square-foot space in the Skelly Building at 601 W. 47th St., next to the House of Hoops store. After major remodeling, Roth plans to open a showroom this fall featuring kitchen vignettes, as well as an interactive test kitchen where customers can watch product demonstrations or check out the appliances themselves.

Roth is the official supplier of Sub-Zero, Wolf, Asko and Best Hoods brands in 14 states, including Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska.

“This is our first pilot of our ‘next generation’ showroom. I think there is the sophistication of the Plaza that merits opening it there,” said Denise Manu, vice president of marketing for Roth Distributing Co. “Whether they are a novice cook or want to be the chef at home, there is a product for everyone, and they can come in and see the brands and personalize their selections to fit their lifestyle.”

Denver-based Roth also has a showroom in Lenexa at 7930 Marshall Drive. Other showroom locations are in Denver, Salt Lake City, St. Louis and Minnetonka, Minn.

Block & Company Inc. Realtors handled the lease negotiations.
