Cheeseburger in Paradise has closed in the Legends Outlets Kansas City.

Luby’s Inc., the Houston-based parent company of Cheeseburger in Paradise, said it will convert the building, at 1705 Village West Parkway, to a Fuddruckers restaurant. The company did not provide an opening date for the new Fuddruckers.

Fuddruckers specializes in hamburgers — 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 and one-pound burgers — that are grilled to order and put on a scratch-baked bun that is made fresh daily. Customers can pile on the toppings of their choice.

The restaurants also offer specialty burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and more.

Along with Cheeseburger in Paradise and Fuddruckers, Luby’s also operates restaurants under the Luby's Cafeteria brand.
