EPR Properties on Wednesday reported higher second-quarter revenue and net income.
The Kansas City real estate investment company said revenue climbed 17 percent in the quarter, to $118 million.
Net income for the three months ended June 30 was $49.2 million, up from $42.8 million in the same quarter in 2015.
EPR reported investment spending of $226.7 million in the quarter, bringing year-to-date spending to $371.8 million.
The company increased its 2016 earnings guidance to a range of $4.72 to $4.82 from a range of $4.70 to $4.80. It also boosted its investment spending guidance to a range of $650 million to $700 million from $600 million to $650 million.
