Applebee’s International said it nabbed two social media nods recently.
Last month, the Kansas City-based restaurant chain’s work on Facebook gained recognition from social media analyst Social Bakers.
Social Bakers awarded Applebee’s with its Smart Storyteller status. The designation recognized Applebee’s not for posting a lot but for getting so much response from its posts.
“Applebee’s most successful post garnered nearly 125,000 interactions with a picture of a bacon sandwich and an invented hashtag celebrating #BaconDay,” Social Bakers said.
Of course, not every comment is complimentary though plenty of them are.
This week, according to Applebee’s, the website Mashable Business said the company has the Best Branded Twitter Account. There’s certainly a lot of Applebee’s love in the posted video.
And if that’s not enough, here’s one more video. A parody of Sam Smith’s song “Stay With Me” changed to “Applebee’s.”
