Barkley, a Kansas City-based advertising and marketing agency, has hired Jason Elm as the firm’s new executive creative director.
Elm will oversee Barkley’s creative team and have final responsibility for every creative product developed by the firm. He will join Barkley on April 13.
Elm will work closely with Tim Galles, who was recently named Barkley’s chief idea officer, overseeing creative strategy, social content and media.
Elm has held several creative leadership roles at DDB California and Deutsch LA and has won international awards for his work. At Deutsch LA, he worked on accounts for clients including Sony PlayStation, Diamond Foods, Expedia.com and TGIFridays.
