Husch Blackwell said Jeff Simon has been appointed the managing partner of the law firm’s Kansas City office.

He succeeds Ben Mann, who held the post the past nine years. Mann is returning to full-time practice in the firm’s technology, manufacturing and transportation group.

Simon is a partner in that same group, focusing on the railroad industry. He also is on the board of directors of the Kansas City Downtown Council.

Husch Blackwell’s Kansas City office has 352 employees, including 150 attorneys. The firm has offices in 15 U.S. cities and in London.
