Gasoline prices falling below $2 in Kansas City

The drop to $1.99 came at all QuikTrip stations on the Missouri side of the Kansas City area Friday morning. ConocoPhillips’ stations also were showing gas below $2 a gallon. Motorists are enjoying a tumbling pump price that has followed crude oil’s decline that started in July.

Obama says North Korea hacked Sony, vows response

President Barack Obama declared Friday that Sony Pictures Entertainment "made a mistake" in shelving a satirical film about a plot to assassinate North Korea's leader and pledged the U.S. would respond "in a place and manner and time that we choose" to the hack attack on Sony that the FBI blamed on the communist government.
