The reward for information keeps growing in the murder case of Tammy K. Cochran, whose burned body was found in the Kansas River earlier this year.
After a fundraiser that included a silent auction on April 20, the reward fund has been increased from $12,000 to $18,000.
Cochran, 37, was last seen on Feb. 29 on surveillance video at a local convenience store wearing a dark blue or black jacket with a fuzzy collar, a light green shirt, black shoes and blue jeans with a design on the back pockets.
Her body was found March 5 near the Cedar Creek boat ramp at 8255 S. Gardner Road in Olathe. It was determined she was the victim of a homicide. Since then her family and friends have been working to increase the reward fund for information to solve the case.
Anyone with information is urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
