Jackson County to hold H1N1 vaccine clinic Tuesday

The Jackson County Health Department will offer swine flu vaccinations from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday in Lee’s Summit.

The clinic will be held in the Pavilion, 520 NW Murray Road in John Knox Village.

The vaccine against the H1N1 flu virus will be offered to members of the following priority groups: Pregnant women, persons who live with or care for infants less than 6 months old, persons 6 months of age through 24 years, health care and emergency medical services personnel, and persons 25 to 64 years who have significant chronic medical conditions.

Clinic hours could be modified based on availability of the vaccine.
