The search continued today for a woman police believe was taken by force from her rural Atchison County home.
Police believe Patricia Kimmi, 58, was taken from her home near Horton sometime Friday evening.
Her daughter, Rita Boller, said today that items were in disarray at her mother’s home and searchers on Monday found part of her dentures by the side of a road.
“It’s so hard to know who in the world would plan this out and do it,” she said. “Nothing was taken from the home, not one single thing.”
Her mother last year moved into the manufactured home that is about a half mile away from the nearest neighbor, she said.
“You wouldn’t think it would happen at all around here,” she said. “We know she’s hurt — we just need to find her and bring her home.”
