Odessa man killed in rollover crash along I-70 near Oak Grove

The Missouri Highway patrol has identified the man killed in a rollover crash along Interstate 70 as Andrew G. Warren of Odessa. He was 31.

Warren was eastbound on I-70 about 4:20 p.m. Friday near the Jackson and Lafayette counties line when he ran off the left side of the roadway.

Warren overcorrected and lost control. His 2001 GMC started to skid and spin clockwise. The vehicle then ran off the right side of the roadway and rolled over multiple times before coming to rest on its wheels facing northbound.

Warren was flown to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence where he was pronounced dead nearly three hours later.

Warren was wearing a seatbelt.
