Assistant Johnson County prosecutor charged with shoplifting

More News

An assistant Johnson County prosecutor has been ticketed for shoplifting deodorant and liquid bandages, according to court records.

Roger Nordeen tried to steal two liquid bandage packages and two sticks of clinical strength deodorant Sunday at an Overland Park Price Chopper at 11700 W. 135th Street, according to police records.

The items were valued at just under $40, records show. Nordeen could not be reached for comment this morning. Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe declined to comment, citing personnel issues.

An arraignment is scheduled for Dec. 1.
