Clay County health officials have planned two H1N1 flu clinics for high-priority groups.
Vaccine will be given on a first-come, first-served basis to Clay County residents only. Both the H1N1 shots and the FluMist will be offered.
Persons requesting vaccination at these clinics must be in one of the priority groups. There is no charge for the vaccination.
The first clinic, targeting pregnant women and children age 6 months to 4 years old, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Antioch Bible Baptist Church, 800 N.E. 72nd St. in Gladstone.
A second clinic is set for 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1600 N. Missouri 291. The vaccine will be available that day to pregnant women, healthcare workers, children 6 months to 4 years old and persons who live or care for children younger than 6 months or who care for children age 5 to 18 who have chronic medical conditions.
