Police search for woman after man killed in Cass County

Cass County authorities were looking for a woman today after a man was shot and killed in rural Cass County.

Steven Lawrence, 35, was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Cpl. Kevin Tieman said authorities received a call around 2 p.m. about a shooting in the 1100 block of North Lyne Street between Raymore and Lee’s Summit.

Tieman said authorities are searching for a woman who was seen leaving the scene in a white Ford F-250 pickup.
