The Duluth, Minn., Police Department released dash cam video showing a suspect ramming his vehicle into a police car during a traffic stop before fleeing in the stolen black Chevy Tahoe on Saturday. The vehicle was later located but the suspect is still at large.

The Park Hills Police in Kentucky released a dash cam video Monday showing a car slamming into one of the department’s patrol cars after hitting a patch of black ice. The department posted a statement on their Facebook page: “In my opinion had they not hit my police unit, this vehicle could have hit the telephone pole or rolled down the embankment. The driver could have been seriously injured. So even though my unit is damaged and can be repaired there was thankfully no physical injury to the driver.”

A day after President Donald Trump apparently described African countries as "shithole countries" in White House meetings, the president repeated the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr: "that no matter what the color of our skin, or the place of our birth, we are all created equal by god." The president signed a proclamation Thursday to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. After the signing, reporters peppered the president with questions.

The Institute of International Education said the number of newly arriving international students declined an average 7 percent at colleges in the fall of 2017 compared to 2016. Some schools are seeing steeper declines. Some U.S. colleges could lose big bucks in tuition as Trump policies send international students elsewhere for their education.
